Israel ryckte igår in på Västbanken, mördade fyra palestinier och skadade ca 25. Bland annat angreps en grönsaksmarknad. Angry Arab:
The heroic occupation army of Israel today attacked vegetable stands. The vegetables were accused of terrorist links. US Congress acted immediately: all the offending vegetables were put on terrorist-watch lists.
På bloggen Meanwhile in Palestine and Iraq läser jag:
Al Jazeera's David Chater said in Ramallah that the incursion was a routine operation for the Israelis. “These sort of things happen most weeks in Nablus and Jenin. The only difference was that the brutality was captured on film.”Det ger i sitt torra konstaterande en bild av den fruktansvärda sanningen om den israeliska ockupationen.

"
The Israeli daily "Yediot Aharonot" published in its website last Tuesday an interview with the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in which he admits that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is "the bravest man in the world". The interview with a Romanian journal was published in Hebrew for only five minutes before the site's administration deletes it. Olmert said that Sayyed Nasrallah "is the bravest man in the world, fears nothing and works courageously and as an experienced for the future although he is a leader for a terrorist organization."
Men ingen hjelp kom. Det gjorde Fatah-mennene bitre.
Colonel Mohammed Ghayeb, the head of an Abbas-allied security service in northern Gaza, died in yesterday's clashes as Hamas gunmen attacked his home with rockets and grenades.
Moments before his death, he telephoned Palestine television, which broadcast his desperate plea for help. "They are killers," he said of the Hamas gunmen. "They are targeting the house, children are dying, they are bleeding. For God's sake, send an ambulance."
The battle raged outside the house for much of the day. Six of Col Ghayeb's bodyguards and a Hamas gunman also died, while around 36 people, including eight children and Col Ghayeb's wife, were injured.
Hundreds of people gathered outside his damaged house today prior to a funeral procession for the seven dead Fatah men.
Fatah militants attacked Hamas offices and vehicles in several places in the West Bank yesterday, wounding a Hamas activist, Palestinian security officials said.
Brushing aside Haniyeh's plea for calm, Fatah issued a statement in Gaza: "Blood for blood and aggression for aggression ... and all the sons of the movement should retaliate to each aggression openly."
The cleric, who was in a car when the gunmen opened fire, was not affiliated to any faction. No group claimed responsibility for the shooting, which occurred after prayers at a mosque in the Maghazi refugee camp.
At one of the funeral marches, members of Fatah's al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades threatened to assassinate Foreign Minister Mahmoud al-Zahar and Interior Minister Saeed Seyam of Hamas.
"Zahar and Seyam, you have to leave Gaza. We will tear your bodies to pieces," an al-Aqsa member shouted at the crowd.
Overnight, Hamas-controlled militants and police forces stormed the house of senior Fatah leader Sufian Abu Zaida in northern Gaza Strip, smashing furniture.
Vendettaen er i gang.
